Blog Comment Demon Review

Hello and welcome, if you are new here you may want to subscribe to the RSS feed so you don't miss anything. Thanks for visiting!

What is Blog Comment Demon

Blog Comment Demon is a software that finds blogs and blog posts for a keyword of your choice. Not only that, but it will provide the information needed to choose out of the hundreds of blogs to spend your time on.

Why is Blog Comment Demon Useful?

If you know anything about SEO then you know how important inbound links are. Blog comment demon allows you to find potential, highly relevant, blogs to post on so you can gain a link back to your website.

Using Blog Comment Demon

After purchasing and downloading the software you are going to want to try things out right?

1. Open the software and find the Search Function.  Enter your Search Term, they type of blog you are looking for, and the time of post(last 24hrs, week, month, year, anytime).  Then Click Start

2.  Wait a minute or two and you will see the results… these are blogs that you can post comments on to get backlinks to your site.

3. Review your results.

What I like to look for when I’m looking over the results is the following…

  • Tag: This tag shows whether the blog comment links on the blog are NoFollow, DoFollow, or Unknown.  DoFollow are what you are looking for, this means that the link will pass “link weight” to your website.
  • Number of Comments: This tells you the number of current comments on the blog post.  If there are already comments posted then there is a better chance of your comment being accepted.  If there are no comments then the admin of the blog may not accept comments and it might be a waste of time writing a comment.
  • Domain and Page PR: PR stands for Page Rank.  Google ranks sites 0-10.  The higher the better.  Look for the higher PR post, but don’t underestimate the low PR sites.

Posting Comments

Once you’ve found the first blog you want to comment on you are going to double click it in the Blog Comment Interface.  This will open up a 2nd screen at the bottom with the blog post there for you to read.

**note: now since I’m absolutely against spamming blogs, I highly suggest you read the blog post and leave a real comment regarding whatever the post is about.**

Now you are going to want to leave a comment.

Name: This is what is going to be linking to your website, so they best practice would be to use your keyword. As you can see I’m using “Website Flipping”
Email: Enter any email address
URL: This is where the link is going to point to, so enter your website.
Comment: Enter a comment about the post you just read.

Click “Submit” and you are done. Some comments are accepted automatically and some are under moderation until the admin accepts them.

Conclusion

I’ve been using Blog Comment Demon for about 6 months now.  Out of all the types of link building I have done blog commenting seems to be the most effective, fastest, and cheapest strategy.

Post a comment below if you have any questions or if you have your own blog comment demon review.

If you are interested in trying blog comment demon you can get it here.  The cost is $67 but it is well worth it!

Using Upcoming Events to Flip a Website

I’m sitting here watching the USA vs. Uganda Soccer Match and started to think about all of the events that go on every year and how you can take advantage of them for flipping websites.

The Idea

Build websites based on upcoming events.  For this example I will be choosing the current word cup soccer games.

The Research

The first thing that came to mind for me is creating a website for fans that are interested in their favorite teams jersey.  But if I were to do this I would have a limited amount of time to get ranked high enough to get any traffic so I’m going to pick a sub-niche of my niche.  I’m going to go for USA jerseys.

The questions is how many people are searching for USA jerseys?  Lets check out the Google Keyword Tool.  The first keyword that came to mind for me is “2010 USA soccer jersey” – It’s a bit of a long tail keyword yet I think it will have a lot of search volume and it will be fairly easy to rank for.  Lets see…

Search Volume

Not too shabby, 6,600 people a month are searching for “2010 usa soccer jersey”.  Next step is sizing up the competition to see how difficult it is going to be to rank for this keyword.

The Competition

Great, there is only 221,000 for our current keyword, anything under 500,000 is fairly easy to rank for.

Buying A Domain

Now we need to buy the domain that we are going to build out our website with.  Ultimately I would like to have my exact keywords in my domains.  Head over to GoDaddy and check to see if “2010USASoccerJersey.com” is available.

It’s available!  Awesome!  Now the game just ended and the USA lost :( so I’m not going to purchase this domain. But feel free to grab it or something similar.

The Conclusion

Now imagine if I started this website 2 months ago because I knew the world cup was starting.  Also imagine if the USA went all the way… think of the search volume that would be generated from this 1 event.  If you start websites months before the actual event happens and prove search volume and revenue you could make a nice site flip that could bring in a big payday.

There are literally millions of ideas to take advantage of, brainstorm and get to work…

  • Upcoming Sporting Events
  • Upcoming Movie Releases
  • Upcoming Car Releases
  • Upcoming CD’s
  • The list goes on…

Good luck and keep your eyes open for potential upcoming events that would make a good flip!

Installing Google Analytics on Your Website

If you don’t already have Google Analytics installed on your website I highly suggest you taking 5 minutes to do so. When you are flipping a website one of the main factors is the amount of traffic your site gets.  If you can’t prove you site has traffic then you might as well be selling it as having no traffic, and you’ll end up taking a big drop in the sale price.

Google Analytics will also give you insight into what your site is ranking for as well as where traffic is coming from.  This will help in the promotion of your website because you can see what is working and where you need to make improvements.  So watch this quick 2.5 minute video on how to install Google Analytics and gain the insight on how your website is performing.

Websites to Stay Away From

Yeild Sign - Stay away from these websitesWhen buying websites, you’ll chance upon properties that you absolutely must get.  On the flipside, you’ll also come across ones that would be best passed over.  How do you know when an available website is best treated with a brush-off?

Search Engine Problems: If the website is banned by at least one search engine, it’s likely to get in the bad favor of others too.  No matter how good it looks, flipping the site will be an uphill battle – one you’re not likely to win.

Zero Promotion: New sites deserve bargain basement prices.  Even though the owner put in a ton of work on the technical aspects, it’s still a shaky buy, at best.  Unless the domain name is a keyword-goldmine, it’s usually better to pass.

Heavy Competition: If the site being sold is a small fish in a large pond filled with plenty of established players, there’s far too much work needed to bring it up to speed.  Unless you can successfully turn the site’s fate around, future buyers will be wary.

Short-Life Span: Sites about particular products or niches that are bound to be gone in a year or two (e.g. a particular movie or a game) are a losing gamble.  After the buzz passes, anyone who gets it will be left with residual traffic that may not even be good enough to pay for its own rent.

Easy To Duplicate: When you check the bargain basement sections of site flipping, you’ll notice the exact same types of properties for sale – wallpaper sites, proxy sites, arcade games, PLR blogs, etc.  With the right content and tools, those sites can be turned out in mass.  There’s no point buying them – just make ten of the same thing yourself.

Make sure to think twice about any website you do buy, many times if it seems to good to be true it usually is.  Make a checklist and go through it every time you are in the market for a new site.

Adding a Product Before Flipping a Blog

When it comes to flipping a blog, everybody’s trying to come up with something extra that can prop up its value.  Most every relatively new blog that goes up on the selling block will need something extra if it wants to sell for more than the nominal price.

The Basics

If you’re putting up a blog for a quick flip, it’s almost requisite to have the following things on board:

* a descriptive logo
* a custom template
* several starter articles

Value-Added

While the above additions may seem like a good amount of work to put in already, they’re usually not enough to make your flip extremely profitable.  If you do what everybody else does, after all, you’ll just end up making the same profits as they do (which is not much).

Getting creative and pitching in additional value can really raise a blog’s worth.  Instead of taking the road well-traveled, how about getting creative and adding something in that can really draw attention.  Try one of these two things, for instance:

An informational product for sale.  Since commissioning an original ebook or similar product might actually prove too expensive for a quick flip, try to find a product that comes with resale rights.  Design a custom sales page, add it to the site and launch it.  If you can get even one sale before flipping a blog, you can use that as proof-of-concept to sell the site for even more.

A mailing list.  Contrary to what many beginners think, building a small mailing list from your blog isn’t too difficult a task.  For instance, you can buy some PLR content, split it into several parts and offer it as an email course to your visitors.  Similarly, you can package it as a free report that they can receive via email.  If you can get even 10 readers to sign up before putting the blog on sale, the potential of generating a large mailing list out of it can make more than a few potential buyers look your way.

If you put in some thought behind it, you can come up with different ideas that should give your flip an added allure, setting it apart from the deluge of new blogs available for the taking.

How to use Submit your Blog Lists for Website Flipping

Everybody knows that a critical aspect of SEO is inbound links. Perhaps the first group of people to realize this were the bloggers. They quickly developed lists of where you could submit your blog on the Internet and grow your backlink count.

Website flippers can leverage all of the work that the bloggers have done collecting these blog submission sites. See, a site that takes links for blogs is really just a glorified directory. They will likely categorize the blogs into various groups. When you are flipping a website you want the very same thing as those bloggers searching for that great submit your blog list. You want links from high power sites.

So a website flipper should simply grab as many submit your blog list as they find and start submitting. A few notes. First, search for the highest authority blog aggregation sites you can find. Second, don’t do them all in one day. Not because of any penalty issue – but because a slow growth rate in back links is much more natural. If you do this you will see that your website flipping business starts to pick up because your properties have more attractive link profiles.

Use Turnkey Internet Business Platforms for Website Flipping

Turnkey Internet business platforms are software products that allow you to launch a website with little effort. In the old days you had to do all the website design and build yourself. This was time consuming. Today there are turnkey Internet business support sites that will give you tools to bring a website on the market quickly.

Using turnkey websites is really important if you are in the business of website flipping. When flipping a website you need to fill it up with content as quickly and inexpensively as possible. Yet, you need good content and a professional look. Website flipping is much like flipping a house. You want it look good to potential buyers. They need to experienced the flipped website, or house, as upgraded and worth top dollar. But your trick is to flip the website as inexpensively as possible.

To me it seems that turnkey Internet business tools help you accomplish exactly what you need for website flipping. They speed the process, lower the costs, but give you an end result that is professional and search engine friendly.
