High Quality Backlinks
This is actually a post from Bryan Clark over at Site Flip University. I’m going to put it in my own words but the credit goes to Bryan! Go check out his site!
High Quality Backlinks
Getting high quality backlinks is one of the most important jobs for you as a webmaster to make your website successful. Whether its a website or a blog, you want backlinks, ESPECIALLY if your planning of flipping them. When a potential buyer is looking into your website/blog they are looking for PR(page rank), traffic, backlinks, and revenue. Like Bryan said, you can kill two birds with one stone by building high quality backlinks, which in turn increases your PR.
Both quality and quantity are important when it comes to backlinks. I personally believe that it is better to have 10 HIGH QUALITY BACKLINKS rather than 100 not so great backlinks… But of course it is more difficult to get the high quality backlinks.
Certain sites are “looked up to” by Google when it comes to backlinks. The word is that .edu sites are best when trying to get backlinks, it’s a gamble trying to get one but it will pay off in the long run.
The Good Stuff - High Quality Backlinks
So heres the good stuff to get your backlinks. Go to google and copy and paste this string.
site:.edu inurl:blog “post a comment” -”comments closed” -”you must be logged in” “your topic”
site:.edu [finds edu domains]
inurl:blog [ find blogs]
“post a comment” [makes sure we can post to this blogs]
-”comments closed” [does not show these closed blogs]
-”you must be logged in” [does not show blogs where u need to log in]
Great stuff right!
Also if you or a friend are in college use there free webpages to backlink to your website… there you go a .edu backlink!
Thats it for now, I would like to thank Bryan over at SiteFlipU for this great article and best of luck to all you website flippers.
